Central Asia

JAA has implemented 15 projects working in all 5 Central Asian countries. JAA worked with the leaders of all of the Central Asian republics at the request of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the successor organization to the Marshall Plan, moderating summits of leaders on specific economic and policy reform topics. JAA worked for Kazakhstan President Nazarbayev to implement on economic diversification and has implemented multiple USAID projects focused on competitiveness and workforce development. JAA is currently implementing a project that is encouraging youth entrepreneurship ecosystem development in Turkmenistan. JAA understands the nuances among these countries and the challenges of overcoming historic attitudes and traditions.
