J.E. Austin Associates is very pleased and honored to welcome Dr. Jim Barnhart as our Senior Director for Agriculture. Jim comes to the firm with a distinguished 40-year career in global development, including at USAID as Co-Deputy Coordinator of the US Government’s Feed the Future Program, Assistant Administrator for Resilience and Food Security, and Mission Director for Jordan, Lebanon, and Albania. Jim recently led Oxbow Farm and Conservation Center, outside of Seattle, WA. Jim will guide J.E. Austin's agriculture programs and support broader activities around the world, particularly the Middle East.
