The USAID KWA project staff participated in the Rwanda National Agriculture Show on August 8th, 2024. JAA staff discussed with the United States Ambassador to Rwanda, Mr. Eric W. Kneedler, how the project's initiatives, such as producer-exporter matchmaking and the contract farming policy, are helping Rwandan farmers increase the exports of high-value agricultural products. During the event, farmers from the Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF) shared their success stories on how the project's support and funding have boosted their production for exports. J.E. Austin is a subcontractor to RTI International on the Kungahara Wagura Amasoko, which works with the government, the private sector, and civil society organizations to increase high-value agricultural exports.
