Executive Vice President Joe Lowther represented J.E. Austin Associates at the official project launch for the USAID Economic Foundations for a Resilient Armenia Activity (USAID Economic Foundations) in Yerevan this December. J.E. Austin is a major subcontractor to Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) on the Activity, leading critical work on competitiveness in the tourism and high-tech industries, public-private dialogues, institutional strengthening, access to finance, and business service provision. The five-year activity aims to strengthen Armenia’s economic resilience and promote competitiveness and economic governance through close cooperation with the government and private sector. The Activity will assist the Government of Armenia in delivering effective economic stewardship, build the capacity of anchor firms, small and medium enterprises, increase access to global markets, and diversify Armenian exports. J.E. Austin looks forward to working closely with other USAID Economic Foundations implementing partners, USAID, the Government of Armenia, CNFA, CIVITTA Armenia, and the Armenian private sector to accomplish all project aims and results over the next five years.
