JAA led the project’s overarching agenda for economic growth in the West Bank and Gaza. JAA helped establish secondary municipalities as attractive locations for business and investment, including industries and value chains that will be economic drivers for the community. JAA supported municipal-level economic strategic planning, helped build local environment for business and investment, and helped foster economy-based collaboration amongst municipalities. JAA provided key expertise in drafting the technical LED strategy in 55 municipalities, including strategic development investment planning initiatives and business-enabling environment reform in these municipalities.
