Middle East & North Africa (MENA)
JAA has implemented over 40 projects in the MENA region from advising the Prime Minister and economic cabinet of Morocco, to working on water resources and entrepreneurship in Libya, to economic diversification in Algeria. It has created digital platforms empowering women entrepreneurs in the region. JAA worked on the 2nd National Industrial Strategy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where it also worked on economic planning for Medina, the 2nd holiest city of Islam. JAA has worked on competitiveness for Jordan. JAA has been active in Egypt for 25 years and currently implements an agriculture project connecting farmers to markets and finance. JAA currently implements the Middle East Research Cooperation project (MERC) for USAID managing the grant review process for researchers involving multiple countries from the region.
